Paragliding Padang
The cost for a tandem flight starts at IDR 450,000 per person, including documentation and pick-up from the landing area. A 360-degree camera costs an additional IDR 250,000.
From the summit, you can enjoy panoramic views of Padang City, Teluk Bayur Harbor, and Air Manis Beach, especially at sunset.
Tandem flight services with licensed and professional pilots, such as Tandem Paragliding Padang, are available.
Location: Air Manis, South Padang District, Padang City, West Sumatra. This location is close to the tourist attractions of Air Manis Beach and Batu Malin Kundang.
Access: Accessible by two- or four-wheeled vehicles from downtown Padang, followed by a 10-15-minute hike to the take-off point.
Operations: Open daily, generally from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. WIB.
Paragliding in Padang is generally done at the top of Gado-gado Hill (also known as Air Manis Paragliding Hill), which offers spectacular views of the coastline and city from a height.
